Through the WordPress control panel
- In the WordPress control panel, go to the “Plugins” section
- At the top, click on the “Add New Plugin” button, then “Upload Plugin”
- Select the “.zip” file containing the plugin and click “Install Now”
- Click “Activate Plugin”
Through the file system
- Unpack the archive with the plugin on your computer
- Go to your hosting in the section with a file editor, or use FTP access
- Go to the folder of your site with installed Word Press
- Open your plugins folder /wp-content/plugins/
- Upload your plugin to the /plugins/ folder
- Go to your WordPress dashboard, go to the “Plugins” section and activate the plugin
