How to install a WordPress plugin

Through the WordPress control panel

1. In the WordPress control panel, go to the “Plugins” section
2. At the top, click on the “Add New Plugin” button, then “Upload Plugin”
3. Select the “.zip” file containing the plugin and click “Install Now”
4. Click “Activate Plugin”

Through the file system

1. Unpack the archive with the plugin on your computer
2. Go to your hosting in the section with a file editor, or use FTP access
3. Go to the folder of your site with installed WordPress
4. Open your plugins folder /wp-content/plugins/
5. Upload your plugin to the /plugins/ folder
6. Go to your WordPress dashboard, go to the “Plugins” section and activate the plugin
